This is a great spread to serve with toasted bread slices or thin pear slices. Gorgonzola is a creamy, pungent variety of blue cheese.
8 oz. cream cheese, softened 2 oz. Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled 2 tbs. butter, softened 2 tbs. chopped green onions 2 tbs. dry sherry 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled, or 1/2 cup chopped toasted walnuts In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Gorgonzola cheese, butter, green onions and sherry until well blended. Stir in bacon and refrigerate until ready to serve.
